i just replaced them, it was hard. but i still get the same symtoms as before, if my car is on some what of a decline(not like a hill) the trunk does not stay up, and i have the spring on the the groove that is suppose to give more tension(closes to the rear of the car). what can i do, or is this the way it is suppose to be like.

thanks

alex

Be carefull and be strong. They pack a whollop if the tension is built up and then let go (slipped). Easy way? If you're not comfortable in a trunk let the body shop guy do it.

i purchased new torsion springs for my trunk. Does anybody know of an easy way to install them, the bentley manual does not show how.

thanks in advance

alex
