Thanks for the input! I agree that it may well be from one of the other areas you mention. I personally looked with the UV light, and to my untrained eye I think it was very difficult to conclude exactly where it was coming from - there was bits of dye in various area, blown around by fan etc. Right now I am closely tracking the magnitude of loss vs. mileage. The tensioner was defintely wet before the mechanic cleaned the engine.
That I know, the oil pressure passage that comes from the block into the head is on the left rear of the head. That is where the oil will leak from the head gasket. I can think of no reason for the head gasket to leak at the right front. I would assume if your engine has a leak at the front right side of the head/engine it is leaking from the chain galley, chain tensioner, distributor housing and those leaks are more easily repaired.
