Besides the obvious body differences, what are the specification differences between 1988 M5 and 1988 M6? Do they have the same width, wheelbase, chassis??

Thanks,

Dan.

The E24 and E-28 use the same chassis, drive train, brakes, etc. The obvious difference is the interior and body. The only difference I've found in the chassis set-up is the sway bar size. The E-28 sway bars are a great upgrade on the E-24. After that they are identical. In fact many of the parts from the E-34, M5 will bolt on the M6 and/or E-28, M5.
