I am getting a high pitch intrmitten whine from my engine compartment area when the engine is guned, I origanally thought it was the fan clutch so I replaced it but the sound remains, I have also taken a stethascope to the engine it self but it seems to be fine so I beleave the sound is from an outside component, the sound does seem to come about after the engine is warmed up and has been running for a while, any suggestions.


Try listening to the alternator, WP, and PS pump. But its the alternator.
