I saw 208k last summer on that $6995 M5 advertised here (remember??) Car ran OK, not that strong, though.

Mine has 134k now. Baby it, and you can get well over 200k. Average driving (city, highway, some hard driving/track) should get 200k before a rebuild.

Get a compression and leakdown test performed. That will tell you if you need a rebuild. Also, check the oil pressure to see if the main and rod bearings are worn.
