My m5 gets too hot at idle. I have flushed the radiator, replaced the thermostat, and replaced the fan clutch. Anybody know anything about the auxilary fan temp switches?

There is a 3-wire switch on the top left (driver side) that controls the fan. There is also a 25 amp fuse and 2 relays--1 low speed and 1 high speed. Or the fan could be seized. Or the resistor could be broken.

Even though you flushed the radiator, it could still have lime deposits. Many have opened their old radiators and found 1/3 or more of the passages clogged by a white crust.
