Bob, how often does your aux. fan run?
I can't recall hearing or seeing mine run yet, although I haven't run the car in the summer yet.

Sheldon: All temp gauges are different, but my low speed comes on at about 12:30 on the dial or whenever I have the A/C on. Very quiet, you likely won't hear it from inside. Never seen the high speed unless I jump the switch to test it. You WILL notice the fan on high. It will almost pull the car by itself!

HTH
