1988 BMW M//5, One of 42 Factory M//5's sold in Canada in 1988 for $56,000. Factory European spec motor with '286' horsepower, Getrag 5-speed, European lights with wiper/washer system. Black with Black buffalo hides.$3000+ Nakamichi sound system. Absolutely No rust,No accidents.Set of 5 Ronal RS69(2-piece 5 spoke wheels with polished lip)and newer tires.This car is totally STOCK.This car is VERY VERY RARE. I purchased the car from an individual in ONTARIO and drove it home.I wrote BMW Canada INC. for a letter of release into the U.S.A.(Paper work is no fun)I have the car LEGALLY registered in the state of MISSOURI where I was living for the past 5 years untill I recently started working for BMW MANUFACTURING in S.C.The car is still in DRY storage in Ballwin M.O. I really DON'T want to sell it, but I'm currently using my other 88 M//5 (US)as a daily driver and my funds are depleating quickly.I've had the car serviced by GREG @ BIMMERS R US and he can tell you the technical aspects of the car which I can't. The car needs 2 things: The right front caliper is starting to seize and the right rear spring is broke.Since This car is STOCK and has approximatly 148,xxx miles on it these are common upgraded items. Does anyone know the history of these cars. Must be a very BAD time of year to sell a car like this.
