Bob, how often does your aux. fan run?
I can't recall hearing or seeing mine run yet, although I haven't run the car in the summer yet.

I had the same problems-Frank Fahey broke the code. The low fan goes on at around 190 degrees or whenever the air conditioning goes on. The high kicks on at around 212, and I never heard it come on. Driving thru Barstow CA last summer when it was 115 caused me to adopt another approach. I wired the high speed switch to the window lockout button on the console so I now turn it on as soon as the heat gauge starts creeping up. Works great.
