My breather tube is slightly cracked and is on my list of things to replace! I also have it in mind to do the starter spray test for leaks. I didn't really think this would effect my cold start, but that it would be constant over the temp range since the cracks (leaks) don't go away when the car is warm...but if it fixes it then go figure.
