You can have the frame damage welded if it's not that bad. I need to have the left thigh bolster welded on my M5 seat.

You can also buy a used E28 seat frame with motors cheap. I'm not sure if the sport seat frame is the same as the regular seat, but I think it is. Use the frame to replace the bad one on the passenger side or sway out individual motors. Seems like the best way to keep the $$$ seats you already have without spending a lot of money to fix them.
