Look on the B-pillar on the driver side. The VIN sticker should NOT have the model listed as a "535i/A". This does not mean automatic transmission, it means America. Some fool could have stuck an "M" badge on a regular US 535i. If the speedo reads in miles and km, you probably have a regular US 535i, I'm guessing.

Go to the M535i webpage for more info on how to identify a REAL M535i. Get the full VIN of the car (off the B-pillar sticker) and let us know.
