Here's two approaches. Repost from my personal archives:

Get a craftsman 12 pt 11/16 deep socket 3/8 drive and a cheap 5/8 sparkplug socket.

Take a set of pliers and pull the rubber from the sparkplug socket. Put the rubber on an
old sparkplug.

Now fill the top of the 11/16 socket with silicone and insert the plug with the rubber until
the bottom of the hex is flush with the
bottom of the socket. Let dry and remove the plug.

You may still have to turndown the outside of the socket. I had to take about .050 total
off of the diameter. Local automotive
machine shop can do it the socket is not hardened.

If you have some bucks the dealer sells one it's a 11/16 thin wall with black oxide
finish(same as impact socket just thinner. part
number is 88-88-6-121-160-6 cost is $31 without discount. Snap-on probably sells one.
