Just going by memory I think the rod bolts are torqued significantly tighter than that, I think it is supposed to be more in the 40lb/ft. neighborhood. 12.5 lb/ft. isn't much for a rod bolt.

This is a find. You will need an Acrobat Reader.

Look at page 29 for your value.

I show that the rod bolts are torqued to 55 Nm's

You will also need to convert Nm. to ft/lbs.

Anyone know the conversion to ft/lbs from Nm.'s ?

I think that 55Nm's is equal to 12.5 ft/lbs but not absolutely sure of that.
