I understand how you feel but must agree with johnh and stef. $13.2 is a lot for an older car and it would be almost impossible to recoup that much in parts.
Because of the nature of these cars, you just have to wait for the right buyer. And the Autotrader or e-bay probably isn't where you'll find him. Have you tried the local paper or a nearby big city paper?
There is a clear message here to fellow owners.
Those e32 rear brakes you're dreaming about? Or that stroker engine rebuild, or maybe those new 17" wheels?
Do it only for the joy you will get from those mods as there will be almost no return on that imvestment come time to sell.
It's easy to have 25 thousand dollars or more over time into a 10 thousand dollar car but you're still left with a ten thousand dollar car.
Care to ask me how I know?
