whining noise (archive)

I am getting a whining noise from my car and have replaced the fan clutch,waterpump and altenator bearings but yet the noise remains,after a little more expermentation I have noticed the noise is absent when I run the car for short periods of time without the fan and fanclutch,the fanclutch is new so that leaves the fan however I have barrowed a fan from a friends 535i and the noise is still preasent with his fan and clutch, so my Question is if anybody has had a similar problem with whining fan noise in hot climates or if anybody has any suggestions as to what would cause this if not,
