The car that you indicated doesn't have the factory M-techik body kit, which I thought all Euro M5s had. I would be interested in seeing the VIN on this car.
I do know one guy here in Denver that has a white M535i. His car came from France and it has the aimable headlights. Pretty cool.

Yes, the white M535i mentioned earlier crossed my path in Denver and it certainly was a pleasant surprise. More and more I am finding the rare M535i, in fact I spotted a Diamantschwartz example at Weatherford BMW yesterday. Great cars nevertheless!
This has been discussed quite a bit in other posts as many US E28 M5 owners are interested in fitting the "Euro Style" bumpers to their E28s. Released just one year after the E28 M535i, the E28 M5 debuted at the Amsterdam Motorshow in February 1985 as the ultimate sequel to the popular M535i. With no spoilers and steel wheels the E28 M5 appeared in far less sporting form than the M535i which wore the lavish M Technic body kit consisting of new front and rear bumper assemblies, a front air dam, wheel arch and sill extensions, rear valance and boot lid spoiler. Before E28 M5 production began in October 1984 the Motorsport team met criticisms that the E28 M5 was too subtle and a front air dam was added to give the M5 a definitive look. 16 inch alloys, a boot lid spoiler, and blackedout bright work (shawdowline) were later added to give the once understated E28 M5 an even more menacing image. Among the long list of optional equipment for the E28 M5 was the familiar M Tehcnic E28 M535i body kit that few enthusiastic owners had fitted to their examples.(seen above on Diamantschwartz Metallic E28 M5) It is quite rare that US E28 M5s are retrofitted the Euro M5 body kit, (seen above) as most are retrofitted with the M535i M Technic body kit. Erebuni, a popular manufacture of inexpensive fiberglass replica body kits offers an M Technic M535i body kit (style 132) available from BMP Design. For those interested in upgrade visit M535i.org there you will find an excellent tech article detailing the upgrade, written by Rob Anderson. In addition this has been heavily discussed on the E28 board, where you will also find thorough explanations of the mod by Chris Graff and Rob Levinson. Pictured above is a late production E28 M5 wearing the non M535i M Technic body work.
