When was the last time the thrust bushings were replaced?? Does the pulsating go away once you drop below 50mph, or does it just decrease in frequency with vehicle speed. I don't doubt the rotors could be warped, but unless your mechanic is familiar with e28 suspension issues, I wouldn't assume that your suspension is ok. If the thrust bushings haven't been replaced I would do that. e32 rotors are supposed to be less prone to warping, if I replace mine I doubt that I would put the m5 rotors back in. I have 60,000 miles on '88M5. Have front end shimmy at about 60-65mph with definite pulsating when braking at higher speeds. My shop says front end is fine but rotors are warped. I drive car about 3M per year. Do I really need 7 series rotors or will stock set do ok? If 7 series rotors are used which brake pads do I use? Thanks for any help for this tech challenged owner!
