I love my E28 M5 but I have say that BMW failed miserably rectifying this problem that began with the first e28 in 1982. Warped rotors, bad bushings, the list goes on. "WE" have to upgrade the rotors when they were fully aware of the cronic shaking. You can spend a small fortune finding the problem. I haven't even began to talk about the many other things that cronically go bad. When everything is working it's a joy to drive but that's a rare occurance. Maybe they've figured it out by now but who can afford them or maybe not because our M5's were $48,000 new with poorly designed rotors.
