A little harsh... (archive)

I just turned 19 and I have an M6 in great condition. Purchased in December, 80k miles, $13,500, perfect condition. My mechanic who is practically family (wholesale parts and free labor, though I'm right beside him helping) found it for me and had always done all the work to the car before I had it so I knew it was in tip top shape. I bought the car with my own hard earned money and I'm kind of insulted that you don't think someone younger than you should own such a great car. I worked very hard for this car and I love it. Too bad I can only drive it 4 months a year since I away am at school the rest of the time. I think your comment was pretty rude and totally unnecessary, I worked my ass off for my car.

Just seems funny because when I was 18 flipping burgers and driving dad's station wagon home was a treat over riding my bike.
