Canadian M5 question (archive)

New to board and have question. I am considering buying an '88 M5 that is located in Canada. I have never bought anything from Canada much less a car. Does anyone have experience importing a vehicle from Canada to the states and can share information with me such as clearing customs and tax info. Anything would be great...thanks, Greg
