gee - when the e28 M5 arrived on US shores, i dreamed about owning one. i was 19 and working as a cook - and guess what it didn't happen - somehow, i couldn't afford a car that was priced in the mid $40K range. so i settled for a car that was 14 years old - a bmw bavaria - one hell of a car. when i grew to the ripe old age of 29 - i was finally able to buy an e28 M5 - my dream car - because it's value had dropped to 1/4 of what it cost new. i just don't see how you can bust these "teenagers" chops for buying a 13 year old car. by the way, the M5 is not a "cool sports car" - it's a sedan plain and simple. - your fellow burger flippin' buddy - jeff h


Have I said something to piss off some of you
teenagers? All I was doing was making an observation but you seemed to have missed the point. I don't give a flying shit what you drive why not throw a Ferrari in the mix. Most M5 owners could only dream of owning a cool sports car at 18 so just be thankful for what you have and take it easy on us "flipping burger guys".
