personally, I'd pay a little more for peace of mind because I don't work on my car. I paid 11k from a second owner with 135k on the clock. He had most of the records and the car was clean. That was three years ago and I have no regrets. If you plan on doing most of the work yourself it may be worth it because maintenence and parts add up quick!!!! If it were up to me I'd pass on a high performance car with no history with 220k on the clock. It's like rollin' the dice at that price. Good luck
