mr loyal - if you are referring to my post below, i was simply stating that the e28 M5 is not a "cool sports car" as you had indicated. at no point in my message did i state that the e28 M5 was a "plain" sedan - you are taking it out of context. i did say that the car is "a sedan plain and simple." what this means if you did not understand is that the car is a sedan - period. i don't get looks or comments from very many people on my M5 - i get 10 times as many for my stock 2002. and yes i like this. the car was designed to be a sleeper, a wolf in sheep's clothing, a tiefstapler, the definition of understatement. i don't think my car is "plain" if you notice in my post below, i say "dream car." if i thought my car was plain, i wouldn't be an enthusiast, and i certainly wouldn't be reading/posting to this board. sorry if i don't want to outfit my car with make up and some pumps. my intention is not to start a flame war - i guess we just see things differently - jeff hbtw - you wouldn't happen to work at llnl would ya?
If you think your E28 M5 is just a plain looking 4dr sedan think again. Prior to modifying the look of my 5 it recieved it's fair share of compliments from young and old. After dropping it,adding 17's and a nice window tint the car has taken on a whole new pesonality. How do I explain it, it's like the shy quiet girl next door all dressed up in make-up and pumps and you're like DAAMMM!! I never knew!!I'm sure most of you readers know what I'm talking about but to those who think you're driving a "plain" sedan remember that girl next door.
