It's there on the passenger side of the engine block, towards the rear of the engine. You might have to remove a heat shield to gain access to it, I did. You must attack it from under the car using a long,12+inches, wobble extension with a short 17mm socket. Thats what I use. It's a tight fit but it is doable.

Hi Guys,

I have an 87 M6 and since it shares the same engine with M5, this is my questions: I couldn't find the drain plug on the engine block, does it suppose to have one? If not then how are we suppose to flush the system?
