The seats may look the same, but the 535is did not come in "Natur" leather. You would think that a different color of leather wouldn't add much to the price but you know the guys at BMW, if it's an "M" part you are going to pay out the nose. The stock M5 seats are about 40% more than a standard 535/528 sport seat. Last I checked the were close to $2500.00 per seat.

The guy in Texas selling his seats bought my stock seats for over $1000 on EBay (think his name was Phil Krieck or something similar sounding). Is this the same guy? If so I think his seats were in fair shape but mine were practically in near new shape.

It might be cheaper to find some one to recondition them or re leather them.
