That is a working estimate to price cars. There are always exceptions. If you have another estimate, let us hear it.

BTW, I have two 200k-mile cars with original clutches, cats, O2 sensors, etc., but I know that the oil consumption (1 qt/1000 miles and 1 qt/500 miles), etc., really merits a rebuild. At least of the top end.

I hate to hear that my engine is only good for 200k, especially since mine has 210K and is still going strong!
