Mine is painted on and shows up on the sales receipt from the dealer. I can't tell you if it is M Motorsports striping. I'm guessing it's just what the pinstripe guy at the dealer painted on.

If you find something different please post about it. I'm considering doing some restoration that would require some new/replacement pinstriping.

How many M5 owners have the M Motorsports pinstriping?-was the striping a factory option?-and-does anyone know where replacement striping can be obtained?-any info would be appreciated......
