Short Shift kit? Any experiences? (archive)

I met a guy a few weeks ago that had a short shift kit installed on his e28. I think it was UUC. I really liked the way it felt, but I didn't have a chance to drive it, I only messed with it in the parking lot. I was wondering if anyone had done the mod, and how they liked it. Also, how hard was the instilation. Any information will be appreciated.

As you can tell, I decided not to sell the 5. It is sitting at school, keeping the miles off!
