Alex:

If you only use your car for the street I suggest:

1. Balo rotors
2. Sachs Mintex Street pads

http://www.bmaautoparts.com has good prices.

Also, the 750i rotors fit the car and are cheaper. Keep the rest stock as it is fine for the street. Save your upgrade money for better maintenance like belts, hoses, filters, fluids, seals, plugs, fuel hoses, clamps and the like. Once you bring the car up to scratch, you can 'try' to improve it.

i need to do my brakes. i purchase the car in march and need new brakes all around.
what brand and where should i get the parts. should i stay stock or go with cross drilled or something of that nature. i now have ate blue, and want to get stainless lines. what would be my best option. i am also considering the e34 rear brake setup, but need to know where to get parts and brand(pads and rotors).

thanks

Alex,

I did upgrade on mine when I did the brakes. Car stops great and I now have no problems with front rotors.(either) Bought used calipers and brackets from junkyard, new rotors and (Pagid) pads from local wholesaler. Good luck.

Mark
