I sold my M5 back in January and was driving a 98 Vette. Same thing. Some kid not watching, and screeeech, Bang. He didn't have insurance. I lost about 8 grand. My insurance company fixed it, but who pays full boat for a Vette that's been hit. I couldn't even sue him. He didn't have anything. It's a hard lump to take, so good luck.
