I just did a top-end rebuild on my car. I'll have a detailed procedure up soon. It is not difficult, but it will take time if you have to collect the information from scratch and it is tedious work. When my work is up, it will give you a detailed account of each bolt and nut you have to touch. 20 hours is a good time. I took much more.
