For a moment there I thought you had driven through Vermont. I have an 83 528e(Bahama Beige) and an 88 Black ///M5. I love them both. The 528 is my winter car. I've been short on winter cars so I've driven the 528 in the salt for a couple of years now. Boy it doesn't take long for the rust to take hold. Oh well, better the 28 than the M5!!But, I'll take you up on that cleaning offer! I wonder how many people have that one two BMW punch. For me, I loved the 28 but knew the
chassis would handle much more power. Hence the M5 was the obvious choice for me. A 535 isn't much less $$ wise so why not go for the extra 50 or so horsepower.


I have always seen these two cars parked in NJ at the Annandale Exit off of 78W. It must an E28 fanatic. That is some odd color 528e. Sorta rusty red colored?? Anyway, of you are out there, I will be happy to clean that M5 of yours for free.... Hey Tim in Central Jersey... This explains the "Other M5" that you saw on 78..
