I've heard the story from David Harrison as well a few months ago and was about to point out that he drove further than Mike. Yes, backing out of a deal sucks and he should have called ahead of time, but I got the impression this was a genuine case. In his place I too would have rather pissed one guy off than sell my car and regret it forever.
BTW, David forgot to mention that I have pics of the car up at the M5 Registry: It really is a nice looking car and any owner is sure to get a lot of comments! Second baby? CONGRATULATIONS! Neil Deshpande ***

You are right! I am not him. But that doesn't stop me from warning other people. Better they hear it from more then just Mike. If it were me, I would have been really pissed if I took a day off of work, took the train to Va., and drove to meet you, just to have you back out of the deal! In this day in age with cell phones and everything else, you have no excuse for not calling ahead of time to tell him you changed your mind. My only point is buyer beware.
Good luck,
Tony

Since I don't know who you are or have ever had any dealings with you, shut the F##K UP.
As to backing out of "deals" at the last minute, I have only ever declined one sale. No Deposits, I refunded him his pre-purchase money and I drove further than he did to discover I wasn't willing to sell the car. And You are not him.
Rgrds,
David
He backs out of deals at the last minute. Do business with him at your own risk.
