I checked the trunk wiring -- moved some wires around and then turned the car on and the fuse did not blow. You're right! Now I need to figure out what exactly is occuring but I'm hot on the trail -- thanks a bunch!!

I had the same problem and it turned out the license plate light wire was arcing to the body. If you have been doing any work in the trunk you may want to check that
Fuse that powers the stop lights, rear-view mirror lights and other circuits blew and I cannot isolate the problem. Everytime I replace the fuse and turn the key to accesory position, the fuse archs and blows out. Anybody have any idea why this is happening? Anybody have any wiring schematics they can send me? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Ben Kraus
