The incredible thing about these pics is how intact and relatively "unencroached" the passenger compartment is. The fatal injuries do not appear to be a result of the passenger compartment crushing, I have seen crash tests at 35mph where the passenger compartment looked much worse than this. A real testament to the fantastic engineering of these cars. I wonder if they were wearing seatbelts...
