Nash:

I wonder if the trunk should have a drain. I have often wondered about this on my E30s and feel that there should be a drain even if water is going in there to let it out.

Take care of the AC problem before it spreads as it can be very tenacious. Use the spray generously and don't park in the dark for a bit. If that fails, ozone.

1. I am requesting help for solving a wet trunk problem. I have replaced the trunk lid gasket, inspected the tail light gaskets and inspected all of the interior trunk caulking beads seem to be intact. My car is garaged and over the summer I let it air out until dry. But the problem has returned.
2. When ever the A/C is turned on, I can detect a mold odor from the vents. However, I don't smell it when the normal fresh air or heat is on.

These problems have been very frustrating to the point of wanting to sell my car. But I would really prefer to fix the problems correctly.

I have owned it since '97 when I bought it with 62,000 miles for $8K.

Thanks in advance for any help.
