Want to buy an M5, currently own an E34 525ia (archive)

Looking for plus and minuses of E28 M5 ownership as daily driver-30,000 miles per year.
I currently do my own maintenance and inspections and have done some bolt on upgrades.

Is there a good site that shows the car's specs and inspection and service intervals?
