If it helps you any, here's a picture of my GF's M5 comp check. I do not have one on mine but the butt dyno tells me her car is just as strong if not more then mine.

I think more important is that all cylinders stay close to each other in terms of compresion. I would be more concern if three cylinders read 170 and the rest were 140's.

or somethign like that. They were all 145 or 150.

Motor has 106k miles.

AFAIK, this sucks :)

Neil seemed to say something to the effect of CR should be about 14.7*CR - on my car that'd be 14.7*9.8 (the US S38B35 was 9.8:1 stock, right ?)

which gives 144 psi

Which means my motor is doing fine. HOwever, everyone expected it to be around 160-170psi.

Given that the motor isn't making as much power as it should be.. im inclined to belevie my compression is low across the board, and hte motor is just tired :(
