Is this with the throttle plates open or closed? If they are closed, the readings will be lower due to the fact that the engine cannot suck air in as easily to compress it.

or somethign like that. They were all 145 or 150.

Motor has 106k miles.

AFAIK, this sucks :)

Neil seemed to say something to the effect of CR should be about 14.7*CR - on my car that'd be 14.7*9.8 (the US S38B35 was 9.8:1 stock, right ?)

which gives 144 psi

Which means my motor is doing fine. HOwever, everyone expected it to be around 160-170psi.

Given that the motor isn't making as much power as it should be.. im inclined to belevie my compression is low across the board, and hte motor is just tired :(
