Brett Anderson at http://www.koalamotorsport.com has an E30 M3 CD-ROM that covers the S14. The S38 is close. I'm in the process of posting detailed top-end rebuild instructions for the S38 to my WWW site. That should take care of most of the engine stuff (apart from bottom end stuff).

Hey everyone. I'm about to pick up the 1988 M5 that I have just purchased and I don't know very much about the car from a mechanical point of view. Does anyone know of any service manual, such as Bentley(I don't think they have one) for the E-28 M5? Are there similarties between the M5 engine and the M3 engine by any chance? Thanks for you help in advance.
