Doug, I haven't tried that, but probably should. Reason I haven't is idle is pretty good, and I have sprayed some flammable stuff around and not gotten any engine pickup, so I am pretty sure there aren't any leaks. But I should check it just to rule it out completely. Heck, Bud Light, that's easy...

Humm, sounds like you've been pretty thorough.

Have you checked the auxilliary air valve located beneath the throttle bodies? You have to remove the plenum and air horns to get to it.

The valve has two vacuum hoses going to it and one of the hoses tees off to yet another vacuum port. This could be the source for a leak, although it's pretty uncommon.

More likely, the valve gets air from the plenum and I've seen them become very dirty and oily inside. You can clean most of the gunk out with a q-tip. Also, try shaking the valve gently to determine if it has too much end play. Is the electrical connection to it tight?

If this fixes things for you, Bud Light will be fine.
