Yes, the labour is great. I must have taken close to 50 hours of slow and meticulous work to do my head. Of course, I cleaned everything, photographed it, etc., etc.

As you know you don't have to remove the head to swap out the cam. But, you will have to remove it for the valve guides, of course.

Fair points but it was the labour (quoted 16 hours head gasket change in the UK by BMW) that I was referring to. Head set and bolts seems to be more expensive in the UK cicra £280 all in.
