was this a bmw mechanic? certainly the first suspect is the guibo, second would be center support bearing... the driveshaft does have two non-repairable u-joints. if a u-joint is bad, best solution is a rebuilt driveshat by a bmw driveshat specialist. don't let anyone try to replace a bmw u-joint. how are your motor mounts?
