That I posted the KBB value on a 1988 M5. As E28 owners, we all know that the KBB value doesn't mean a thing. I just paid a lot of money for my 1986 M535i. Going by KBB on a 1988 535is, I overpaid by $5000. No harm was meant in my post. That is the problem with email and forum posts. There is no emotion. Sometimes it is hard to portray sarcasm in a post. John obviously has a sense of humor and must know by now that I am not a troll on the Bimmer.Org message boards. I think that he might have thought I was someone else by some of the things he said in direct emails to me. I have no hard feelings. Things like this are trivial compared to what really goes on in my life!
Take care everyone. Mount those snow tires (or hibernate your E28).
