Using the e28 M5 front calipers, are the stock rotors better or e32 740i rotors? Thanks.

IMHO,
Stick with the stock OE rotors 300x30mm and upgrade your rears to E-34, 540/M5 300x20mm rotors and caliper.
The E-32, 750 uses the same calipers and caliper carrier however only the E-34, 300x20mmm rotors will fit the E-28. I also suggest that you use the Jurid 547, M5 pads.
