Not discounting what everyone has said-

If you like the way your car stops with the original size M5 rotor and are just trying to avoid warpage, try this combo, it has worked on my car for 25k+ miles with no warpage. I'm not on the track every weekend, but I do drive my car hard. My most common stop is from 70MPH to 0 to avoid Deer crossing the road. And if you have ever driven in West Marin or up the North coast of California you'll know what I mean.

The other advantage is that you would be using the rotors designed for the e28 M5 calipers. The engineers at BMW are no dummies.

-Brembo e28 M5 rotors
-Autoquip Premium Carbon Fiber Brake Pads.

Jim at Mesa Performance Parts in Coasta Mesa CA. recommended this set-up for me after doing the same on his wife's car. Apparently her rotors had lasted 30k with no problems.

Using the e28 M5 front calipers, are the stock rotors better or e32 740i rotors? Thanks.
