I'm no expert on M5, I have '88 535i, 5 sp. Look carefully at the front suspension - and all links, bubber bushings. Ask for ad review maintenance records.

Driveshaft "guibo" - rubber joint.

shifter linkages and bushings - sloppy?

a/c work?
