A modification can be done building out the area with fiberglass or MDF and covering to match the intrerior, depending on the depth of the speaker.


Just curious, did you manage to get the 5.25" mid-bass to fit somehow in the kick panel? I'm looking to do my sytero soon and was looking for some leads on this. I was planning on running some OZ Audio 4" due to size and the lack of air space in the existing cavity.
