I just spent some$$$$$ on my E28 535is!
I installed new Bilsteins all around and upgraded my front brakes to M5 Calipers, rotors, and pads nad the rear too E34 540i Calipers, rotors, and pads. Also SS lines all around.

Everything was new except the calipers, and front rotors...which are slightly warped!

it's true. E32 rotor, not necessarily 750. Many of us use them. Their primary benefit is they cost half as much as stock M5 rotor. They may last longer.
